Computer & tech support

Computer help that fits around your business

When a computer is slow, a sign-in won't work, or a new laptop needs setting up, I can help remotely or come to you on a scheduled visit.

Sound familiar?

  • Your computer takes forever to start
  • A new employee needs a computer set up
  • The printer works for everyone but one person
  • You keep getting locked out of an account

What I can do

  • Troubleshooting slow or misbehaving computers
  • New computer setup, including moving files and accounts over
  • Printer, scanner, and shared drive problems
  • Sign-in, password, and account lockout help
  • Software installs and updates, done properly

Good to know

  • This is scheduled help, not emergency support. Messages are answered by the next weekday evening.
  • Hardware repairs, like a cracked screen or a dead hard drive, go to a trusted local repair shop. I'll point you to one.
  • No help desk contract required. Call when you need help.

How it works

From first conversation to follow-up

  1. Free consultation

20 to 30 minutes by phone, video, or over coffee. Tell me the problem, and I'll include a quick 10-point check of your basics.

  2. One-page proposal

The outcome, the price, and a start date. Small fixes get an hourly estimate instead. No long contract.

  3. The work

I work around your schedule and finish with a written summary you can keep.

  4. 30-day follow-up

A check-in a month later to make sure everything is still working for you.

Can you fix my computer remotely?

Often, yes. With your permission, I connect to your computer over the internet, and you can watch everything I do. If remote help won't solve it, we'll schedule a visit.

Do you come to my office?

Yes, by appointment on weekday evenings and Saturdays, anywhere in the Jackson metro, including Madison, Ridgeland, and Jackson.

What if it's an emergency?

I'm not set up for emergencies or same-day support. Messages are answered by the next weekday evening, and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help in time.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the job. Small fixes are billed by the hour, and bigger jobs get a fixed price. Either way, you'll know the cost before I start.
